Only a week before the bushfires Lisa Parsons was in Marysville for a short break with her husband & 2 young kids; relaxing and enjoying the local hospitality. Sadly now that lovely town has been devastated by the fires and many of their new friends have perished
A call to a survivor/friend alerted her that they were in desperate need of all things including toiletries. It was this call that prompted Lisa to lend her support and start a collection immediately, as many Australians did. Lisa’s own company ‘Pure Destiny Aromatics’ immediately donated pellets of goods
It was with the help of a Security company and a friend that she set up a drop off point at her office. Volunteer trucks over the next few weeks took up any goods for the Kinglake, Flowerdale, Wandin communities
One of her products sent to the relief was her ‘Baby Destiny Organic Soothing Barrier Cream’. Parsons says “I originally developed this product for babies, however due to its healing properties & formulation it lends itself to many different uses therefore I knew it would work well for the CFA”. Some days later she was surprised to receive an email from a CFA representative, confirming some relief this product had given them
Thank-you Pure Destiny Aromatics for the donated goods to the relief centre these supplies are much needed. They are particularly helpful as they can be used by a large diversity of age groups and especially with the barrier cream – some CFA members have been given this to help with sore and blistered hands.

These healing properties are due to the following ingredients: #1:Organic Lavender Essential Oil: - Well renowned for its healing properties. Herbalist regards Lavender as the most useful and versatile essential oil for therapeutic purposes. Lavender is the essential oil most commonly associated with burns and healing of the skin. It also has antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn and prevent infection. It also has cytophylactic properties that promote rapid healing and help reduce scarring.
