Lose Your Mummy Tummy

This book is based on research from Columbia University Department of Physical Therapy (March, 2001 ) that the Tupler Technqiue abdominal exercises make the diastasis (separation of the outermost abdominal muscle) smaller. Since this outermost abdominal muscle is the support system for the back and the organs in front a smaller diastasis means less back problems and getting rid of the `mummy tummy`.

- Most women have a diastasis after having a baby.
- A diastasis does not automatically go back together after the birth.
- Doing abdominal exercises incorrectly can cause this separation to get larger.
- If a diastasis is not brought back together after the first birth then it becomes increasingly larger with each subsequent pregnancy.
- A diastasis can be brought back together with the Tupler Technique no matter when a woman has had her baby!
